Arlene Walz

Arlene P. Walz, age 41 of St. Cloud, died Thursday, October 28, 2004 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 1 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. James Statz and Rev. Sylvester Kleinschmidt will concelebrate with interment following in St. Anthony of Padua Cemetery in Padua.

Friends may call from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday and 8 to 10 a.m. Monday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre.

Arlene Walz was born September 27, 1963 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Virgil and Kathleen (Rooney) Walz. She had been a resident of REM Fernwood Home in St. Cloud for the past 20 years.

Survivors include her mother, Kathleen "Kay" Walz of Sauk Centre; brothers and sisters, Roger Walz of Brooten, Cheryl (Ron) Wagner of Hutchinson, Marilyn Edman of New London, Gail (Scott Kramer) Eibensteiner of Melrose, Barb (Dennis) Gregory of Richmond, Virginia "Ginny" (Marvin) Borgerding of Brooten, Mark (Tammy Gottwald) Walz of Brooten, Michille Braegelmann of Cold Spring and Alan (Milissa) Walz of St. Joseph; many nieces and nephews; and her REM Fernwood family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Walz in 1988.

Serving as casket bearers will be Roger, Alan and Mark Walz, Barb Gregory, Ginny Borgerding and Michille Braegelmann. Cross bearer will be Gail Eibensteiner and scripture bearer will be Cheryl Wagner. Honorary bearers will be her REM Fernwood family.
