Anna M. Bielefeld, age 84 of New Munich, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich with Rev. Roger Klassen, O.S.B. officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich.Anna Maria Bielefeld was born September 30, 1925 in Greven, Germany to Josef and Antonia (Grundmann) Stroth. She was united in marriage to Clemens "Clem" Bielefeld on July 18, 1951 in Greven, Germany. Anna and Clem immigrated to the United States in 1955 and have lived in New Munich for over 50 years. Anna was a homemaker who was always at home for her family. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and quilting. Anna was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich.
Survivors include her husband, Clem Bielefeld of Sartell; children, Maria (Vern) Greenwaldt of Isle, Joe (Wendy) Bielefeld of Cedar Rapids, IA, Clem (Margie) Bielefeld of Robbinsdale, Ruth (Ron) Neidrich of Baton Rouge, LA, Rita (Scott) Walker of Duluth, and Ernie (Deb) Bielefeld of Brooklyn Park; 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; brother, Bernhard Stroth of Germany; and sisters, Elfriede Stroth, Maria Pasing, and Ellie Brandhoff all of Germany.
Serving as casket bearers will be Kyle Bielefeld, Dana Quiroz, Sheri Greenwaldt, Grant Bielefeld, Max Bielefeld, and Daniel Bielefeld. Cross bearer will be Seth Bielefeld and scripture bearer will be Melissa Bielefeld. Flower bearers will be Nicole Walker and Sandie Walker.
