Ann M. Nelson, age 75 of Sauk Centre, died on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 7 at Zion Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. R.E. Bloemker will officiate with interment following in Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Sauk Centre United
Auxiliaries will pray at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Ann Nelson was born on September 23, 1928 in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota to Emil and Helen (Cripe) Studanski. The family moved to Sauk Centre when she was nine months old and she had resided there the rest of her life. On October 17, 1950 she married Stanley Nelson at Zion Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 67 Auxiliary and Paul F. Donart VFW Post 2853 Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Lee) Vogt and Debbie (Gene) Walter, both of Sauk Centre; three grandchildren, Amy and Lee Vogt and Gina Walter; sisters and brother, Margaret Dinndorf of Albany, Emily (Ken) Essler of Osakis, Geraldine (Mike) Reinardy of Cedar and James (Mary Ann) Studanski of Sauk Centre.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Helen Studanski and her husband, Stanley W. Nelson on March 7, 1980.
Serving as casket bearers will be Linton "Buzzy" Cripe, Michael and Mike Reinardy, Tom Studanski, Steven and Don Dinndorf. Honorary bearers will be the Tic Toc Softball Team.
