Ann Marie Imdieke, age 81 of Meire Grove died Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Pine Haven in Melrose.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19 at St. John's Catholic Church in Meire Grove with Rev. Ken Thielman officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church in Meire Grove.

Ann Marie Imdieke was born December 17, 1923 in Meire Grove, Minnesota to Joseph and Anna (Schoenberg) Welle. She was united in marriage to Elmer Imdieke on September 5, 1944 at St. John's Catholic Church in Meire Grove. The couple farmed near Meire Grove until retirement. Ann Marie has resided at Pine Haven in Melrose for the last 11 years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, flowers and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Ann Marie was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Meire Grove, Holy Rosary Society and St. Mary's Society.

Survivors include her children, Patricia Kroeger and her husband, Earl of Minnetonka, Elaine Wenning and her husband, Lloyd of Plymouth, Frank Imdieke and his wife, Jan of Melrose, Mary Lee Bertram of Paynesville and Margaret Silbernick and her husband, Mark of Greenwald; nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.

Ann Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer on December 6, 2001; grandson, Michael LeClaire; brothers, Wilfred, Joseph, Martin, Ervin and Adalbert Welle; sisters, Catherine Singsank, Elizabeth Ellering and Mary Rieland.

Serving as casket bearers will be Scott Kroeger, Pat Imdieke, Carrie Silbernick, Leah Frascone, Joseph Bertram, Jason Silbernick and Paul LeClaire. Serving as cross bearer will be Katie Bertram and scripture bearer will be Stacy Fofana. Honorary bearers will be St. Mary's Society.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Michael's Hospice in Sauk Centre.
