Angeline M. "Angie" Klasen, age 94 of New Munich died Monday, October 11, 2004 at St. Michael's Nursing Home in Sauk Centre.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 15 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich with Rev. Roger Klassen, OSB and Rev. Julius Beckermann, OSB concelebrating. Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in St. Rosa.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Parish prayers will be at 8 p.m.

Angeline Klasen was born August 4, 1910 in Millwood Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Gerhard and Wilhelmina (Stineke) Toenies. She was united in marriage to Hubert Klasen on February 21, 1933 in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich.

Survivors include her children, LaVerne Hallermann of Albany, Lillian Seifermann of Blaine, Jane Seifermann and her husband, Herb of Melrose and Elaine Hoppe and her husband, Virgil of Andover; 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren; brother and sisters, Urban Toenies of Freeport, Mary Gerads of St. Anthony and Leona Silbernick and her husband, Frank of Little Falls; sister-in-law, Veronica Toenies of St. Anthony.

Angeline was preceded in death by her parents, Gerhard and Wilhelmina Toenies; husband, Hubert Klasen on February 18, 1978; son, Pvt. Joseph Klasen in 1960; granddaughter, Patricia Erhlichmann in 1983; sons-in-law, Roman Seifermann and Ervin Hallermann; brothers, August and Norbert Toenies; sisters, Clara Klaphake, Adella Klasen and Teckla Scherping.

Serving as casket bearers will be Norman Hoppe, Gordon Hoppe, David Seifermann, Edna Pundsack, Donna Zirbes and Adam Hoffman. Serving as cross bearer will be Jessica Blonigen and Linda Frieler will be the scripture bearer. Gift bearers will Debra Emmans and Nona Vornbrock
