Alma T. Sandbrink, age 99 of Melrose died Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2005 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose with Rev. Vincent Lieser officiating. Inurnment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Melrose, Minnesota.

Alma Sandbrink was born December 13, 1905 in Melrose, Minnesota to Joseph and Mary (Borget) Tise. She graduated from Melrose High School and St. Cloud State Teachers College. She taught school for five years before her marriage to Roman Sandbrink on June 24, 1929 in St. Cloud. Alma was employed as an accountant at Stearns Cooperative Electric Association (REA) from March 1943 until she retired in Dec. 1970. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Melrose. Alma enjoyed traveling and drove many trips through the United States and Canada. She has flown on four trips to Europe, California and Oregon. She collected dolls, books, musical albums and cassettes. Alma also enjoyed reading and listening to good music and watching television.
Survivors include her daughter, Myrna Lindeman (Albert "Al") of Avon; sister and brother, Delia Lemm of Melrose, Clyde Tise (Virginia) of Melrose; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roman H. Sandbrink who died on August 14, 1948; daughter, Ronayne Lee; brothers and sisters, Ervin "Sonny" Tise, Melvin Tise , Ihrma Tise, Helen Tise, Laverne "Tubby" Tise and Leola Tise, Lorraine Hall and Maretta Schneider; and one grandson, Greg Lindeman.
Urn bearer will be Jennie Harjes. Wyatt Pauley will serve as cross bearer and scripture bearer will be Katlyn Emery.
