Allen G. Lembeck, age 73 of Spring Hill died Thursday, November 25, 2004 at Paynesville Area Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 29 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spring Hill with Rev. Leo Leisen officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 to 9 a.m. Monday at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. St. Michael's Men's Society and St. Michael's Catholic Aid will pray at 7:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 8 p.m. Sunday evening.

Allen Lembeck was born November 21, 1931 in Spring Hill, Minnesota to Roman and Eleanore (Metzger) Lembeck. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Marthaler on November 22, 1956 at St. John's Catholic Church in Meire Grove. The couple farmed all their lives near Spring Hill. Allen retired from farming but continued helping his son on the family farm. He enjoyed fishing, dancing, and watching the Vikings and Twins. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spring Hill, St. Michael's Men's Society and St. Michael's Catholic Aid.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Lembeck of Spring Hill; children, Kathy Flanders of Gulf Shores, AL, Gary Lembeck (Lori) of Albany, Steve Lembeck of Spring Hill, Mary Braun (Greg) of Regal, Jackie Dahl (Jeff) of Lake Henry, and Lisa Bertram (Gary) of Greenwald; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; stepmother, Pauline Lembeck of St. Cloud; brothers, Tom Lembeck (Millie) of St. Cloud, Jerry Lembeck (Kay) of Bloomington and Bill Lembeck (Kathy) of Bloomington; sisters, Jane Eveslage (Jerry) of Waconia, Carol Wegman (Jim) of Cold Spring and Julie Loehr (Vern) of New Richmond, WI.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother.

Serving as casket bearers will be Eric Schoenberg, Jeremy Lembeck, Curt Bertram, Jamie Lembeck, Aaron Braun and Scott Braun. Serving as cross bearer will be Hannah Braun and Amy Bertram will be scripture bearer. Honorary bearers will be St. Michael's Men's Society and St. Michael's Catholic Aid. Gift bearers will be Samantha Dahl, Corey Dahl and Michele Schoenberg. Lectors will be Joe Flanders and Jenny Wuertz.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Camp Courage in Annandale and/or Poor Clares Monastery in Sauk Rapids.
