Agnes Seger

Agnes M. "Aggie" (Kuefler) Seger, age 93 of Sauk Centre died peacefully Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Long Prairie Memorial Nursing Home.

A memorial mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Elrosa with Rev. Roger Klassen, OSB officiating. Inurnment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call Monday at the church one hour prior to the service.

Agnes was born May 27, 1913 in Lake George, Minn. to Leonard and Caroline (Spillman) Kuefler. She spent her childhood and early years in Elrosa. She lived most of her life in Sauk Centre where she was employed as a waitress for the Palmer House, Main Street Cafe, and for 25 years at the Truckers Inn, where she poured the first cup of coffee served. When Aggie was 87 she moved to Das Goldene Wohnheim in New Munich. She loved the Minnesota Twins and making quilts, especially baby quilts. She made wonderful cranberry bread, carrot cake and chicken noodle soup. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre.

Survivors include her daughters, Agnes M. Puariea (Roger Bosveld) of St. Paul and Susan Neal (Richard) of West Fargo, ND; sisters and brothers, Clara Galvin of St. Paul, Joe Kuefler (Bernice) of Sauk Centre, Regina Kulzer of Greenwald, Anna Marie Nietfeld (Sylvester) of Meire Grove, and Alma Henderson of Camarillo, CA; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Caroline Kuefler; brothers, Ed, Walter, and Richard Kuefler; sisters, Margaret Kampsen, Eleanor Acker, and Theresa Kuefler.

Memorials are preferred.
