Agnes C. Norris, 92, of Arden Hills, formerly of Burtrum, died peacefully surrounded by family and care staff on Friday, April 2, 2004 at Presbyterian Homes in Arden Hills, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grey Eagle with Rev. Ron Tibbetts officiating. Burial will follow in Moses Dane Cemetery, Burtrum.

Friends may call Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Grey Eagle and Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.

Agnes Norris was born on December 8, 1911 in Bruce Township, Todd County, Minnesota to Albert and Matilda (Grosnick) Schultz. She married Frank G. Norris on May 12, 1931 in Long Prairie, Minnesota. They moved to their farm in 1933 where they farmed until retirement. Their home was always open to family and friends and therefore they called it the Welcome Farm. She loved her church, family, friends, and gardening. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Grey Eagle. She started Todd County Extension Services and was a charter member of Bruce Study Club which met for over 50 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Seabloom and her husband, William of Shoreview; two grandchildren, Mary Seabloom and her husband, James Dunne of Roseville, Eric Seabloom and his wife, Elizabeth Borer of Santa Barbara, CA; great grandchildren, John Louis and Grant Gilbert Dunne; and sister, Elizabeth Johnson of Long Prairie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank G. Norris on February 21, 1991; sisters, Cora and Sadie Schmidt, Viola Jobe, and brother, Leonard Schultz.
